After suffering months of lost revenue and facing an unknown future, the company shut down retail and laid off most of its staff. “We did close our tasting room and store, which was a major source of revenue for us. We furloughed 14 people right off the bat when that happened.” Gunter says, “By the end of September, half of our employee workforce was on furlough status.” To keep operations going, they gambled on Las Vegas. “We basically then turned to other markets. We just recently announced a first partnership with the Las Vegas Raiders and Allegiant stadium.”
