Bevo’s Daily Roundup: Las Vegas odds say Texas will be middle of the pack in 2021

[ad_1]

Las Vegas odds say that the Texas Longhorns aren’t in the running to finish among the top of the Big 12 Conference, per a report in 247Sports. In fact, they put Texas’ win total at 4.

From 247Sports: “After leading some of the nation’s most explosive offenses as a coordinator at Alabama the past two seasons, Steve Sarkisian steps back into a head coaching role at Texas, which won’t require a full rebuild. The Longhorns finished the 2020 campaign 7-3 overall, featuring losses to conference foes TCU, Oklahoma, and Iowa State by eight points or less. Although Texas lost a couple of offensive veterans including quarterback Sam Ehlinger and tackle Sam Cosmi to the NFL, Sarkisian should be able to find more ways to maximize the talents of running back Bijan Robinson.”
